Bug Free Amber Light Cover
Don't you hate it? You're enjoying the great outdoors evening. But it's what waits you inside that is about to ruin your night. Your camper is buzzing with every conceivable bug known.
You're left with the one only horrible solution. Spraying the room with insect repellent, leaving your camper filled with toxic spray and dead bugs everywhere. Yuk!
Instead of wrapping layers of orange cellophane around the light, The Bug Free Amber Light Cover is an easy clip on/ off soft amber light filter. (The cover still allows the normal rotational function of the light.)
The theory behind it is, bugs and mossies' are attracted to bright white light.... as we all well know.
But not so with warm amber light. Initial observations support this... the bugs go to the white light, but none to the The Bug Free Amber Light Cover.
The covers are 225mm long and fit over the standard 290mm long led lights (as fitted in Vantage Active Campers).
Each Bug Free Amber Light Cover are custom made, not mass produced. Set of two covers: $19.50.
