What's included in the DIY Trolley Fabrication Package:

This package has been developed for Slide-on Camper owners who have access to basic fabrication facilities and would prefer to source materials locally while benefiting from a proven design that has already been refined through practical use. The design is based on actual trolleys used by Slide on Campers - purchased as a ready to assemble kit.

For many DIY projects, the greatest investment is not in the fabrication itself but in the time spent thinking, developing and refining the design. This DIY Fabrication Package provides a proven solution, eliminating much of the trial-and-error process and helping avoid wasted time, wasted materials and unnecessary mistake costs.

This package provides information for the:

• HiRoller Trolley – This is the standard height trolley providing access underneath the camper.
• The optional PowerRoller motorised jockey wheel mounting system.

A major advantage of the design is its bolt-together construction. No welding is required. This allows the trolley to be constructed by simply only cutting and drilling and assembled using standard workshop tools.

Unlike welded trolleys, this trolley can be disassembled as a flat-pack package. This can significantly reduce transport costs if you chose to later sell the camper and trolley. It can also increase the potential resale opportunity, helping to retain the value of both the trolley and the camper setup.

The DIY Trolley Fabrication Package includes:

• Complete material list including steel sections, fasteners, castor wheels, bolts, electric jockey wheel requirements and associated components.
• Steel cut lengths.
• Hole locations and measurements.
• Assembly instructions.

Included in the package are custom parts and fabrication aids:

• RHS end caps, adding a professional finish plus avoiding hazardous sharp edges.
• Hole measuring jig for accurately marking hole positions. This saves significant time measuring and marking holes.
• Nut insertion jig for positioning nuts inside steel tubing during assembly.
• Custom Bolt fasteners for inner steel section bolts.
• 12V battery housing (to suit a U1 size battery)

The package is supplied as printed drawings and documentation together with the custom jigs and components required for construction. CAD files are not included.
