A common question arises as to what insurance companies cover a slide on camper. They are not a common item so there can be a bit of a glazed look (or sound) when you mention you want to insure a slide on.

Insurance companies that owners use include NRMA, RACV, Club4x4, RACT, Elders Insurance (QBE), Suncorp, CIL, CGU, AAMI.

Ken Tame in Melbourne has been a popular choice but have since been taken over by Allianz.

Club 4x4 however appears to be one of the more competitive and will do the complete package, Ute and Camper. For a fifty thousand dollar camper, premiums vary from $650 to $1,600, so it pays to shop around.
